Job Description:
Summary:
Responsible for the preparation and processing of weekly non-union payrolls; review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets; track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions. Assist with bi-weekly player payrolls and full-time employee payrolls. Help maintain payroll and time tracking within Workday database.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation and processing payrolls
Assist with running reports for union compliance and dues/benefits remittance
Assist with maintenance, testing, and upgrades within Workday
Maintain and audit timecards for non-exempt employees and minor league players
Correspond with Equifax regarding unemployment claims and maintenance
Reconcile unclaimed wages for all payrolls
Collaborate with co-workers on projects and answer employee questions
Actively participate in payroll audits
Maintain appropriate payroll records in accordance with company policies and procedures
Enroll, fund, and reconcile player/coach/staff debit cards for seasonal meal and housing per diem
Track imputed income for employees with company leased vehicles
File and archive documents
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2-3 years of payroll processing experience
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong technical and analytical skills
Experience with database functions and maintenance, including report creation
Strong organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Must have the ability to problem solve, multitask, meet hard deadlines, work independently and in a team environment, prioritize, pay attention to details, and communicate effectively

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
