hat you get to do:
Coordinate with multi-state business unit operations and Human Resources to process payroll
Authority to resolve team member payroll issues within established guidelines
Validate pay data entries, calculations and processing of team member paychecks
Manipulate and import pay data and run related audit reports
Process manual paychecks when needed
Calculate special payments, bonuses, rate changes and vacation payouts as needed
Complete wage and employment verification requests as needed
Providing administrative support to the Finance functions and data analysis using Excel.
Perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
Must have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Must have at least 1 year of payroll experience
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be proficient with MS Office - emphasis in Word and Excel
Must work well in a team based environment
Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
Must have attention to detail
Must be able to work to deadlines.
Must have an understanding of state and federal payroll laws and tax requirements
Must have a customer service focus
Must be able to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner
May be required to work holidays, weekends, and extended hours beyond regular business days to accommodate processing schedules
Demonstrated payroll processing experience with prior ADP and Workday experience preferred
Garnishment knowledge preferred
Wisely Pay Card knowledge preferred
