Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Administrator to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving abilities who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll for employees across multiple locations while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with semi-monthly and monthly payroll cycles for employees across multiple locations
- Verify records, hours worked, and paid time off for accuracy
- Verifying wages, deductions, bonuses, and other pay adjustments
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity in the payroll system
- Coordinate with HR and other departments to process new hires, terminations, and status changes
- Ensure compliance with all global entities and local payroll regulations across different jurisdictions
- Generate payroll reports for management review and auditing purposes
- Review and verify benefit charges and bills
- Assist with employee questions regarding benefits and payroll
- Assist with year-end processing,
- Assist with Month end reconciliation
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or related administrative role (or equivalent coursework)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, vlookups)
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Capacity to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Experience with payroll software systems (Rippling, Deel) is a plus
- Understanding of Global payroll processes
- Experience working with multi-location or multi-entity organizations
