Core Responsibilities

Payroll Accounting

• Process payroll journal entries for multiple regions.
• Validate payroll data and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Handle payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Benefits Accounting

• Manage fringe benefit accruals and updates.
• Coordinate with payroll vendors (e.g., ADP) for benefit-related entries.
• Ensure accurate posting of benefit costs and adjustments.

Month-End Close Activities

• Prepare and review payroll and benefits accruals.
• Support general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely submission of reports for closing deadlines.

Reporting & Compliance

• Generate payroll and benefits reports for internal stakeholders.
• Support audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Maintain compliance with SOX controls and internal policies.

Process Management

• Monitor SLA adherence for payroll and benefits processes.
• Document and update SOPs for payroll and benefits workflows.
• Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors for payroll and benefits.
• Address queries from employees and resolve escalations.
• Act as SPOC for Pay & Benefits-related issues.
