Payment Monitoring Program Junior Professional (Fixed-term)

In this role, you'll support our Payment Monitoring Program and gain hands-on experience identifying and investigating potential fraud, bribery, and corruption risks.

This is a maternity leave substitute position based in Vilnius, Lithuania, reporting to a manager in the US. You don't need to know everything on day one - we'll help you build the skills, confidence, and network to grow your career in compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review financial transactions, vendor payments, and expense reports to identify patterns that may indicate fraud, bribery, or corruption
  • Support investigations by gathering evidence, documenting findings, and collaborating with risk and legal teams
  • Prepare clear reports that summarize your analysis and help guide next steps
  • Contribute ideas to strengthen Nasdaq's anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and anti-fraud frameworks
  • Develop your compliance and analytical skills through hands-on work, training, and mentorship

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Law, International Affairs, or a related field
  • General knowledge of anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and regulations (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act)
  • Eagerness to learn about financial crime, fraud prevention, and compliance in a global organization
  • Proficient English communication skills and the ability to work well with teammates across different functions and regions
  • Good analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or project experience in AML, financial crime, fraud, or compliance
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Experience working in cross-functional or international team environments

This position will be located in Vilnius, Lithuania and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates. This is a full-time fixed term (until February 2028) role.
