Role overview
We are looking for a Payment Installations Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in enabling, configuring, and supporting Planet products and payment solutions for our merchants. You will work across teams to ensure seamless delivery, technical accuracy, and an outstanding customer experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded professional who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with stakeholders, and working in the dynamic world of integrated payments.
What You Will Do
Fully enable and configure all Planet products and solutions (card present and e-comm products)
Test, troubleshoot, and validate Planet solutions both remotely and on-site
Liaise with merchants and internal departments to ensure solutions are delivered on time and to the correct build specifications
Ensure all solutions are configured according to required standards and compliance guidelines
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information throughout the installation lifecycle
Collaborate with internal teams to review contracts and ensure correct configurations and billing models
Provide internal and external technical advice and guidance on Planet solutions
Follow up on installations, analyze outcomes, and report on solution status
Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver the best possible service and customer experience
Adapt to new tasks and challenges with a proactive and open mindset
Follow communication procedures, internal guidelines, and company policies
Communicate confidently and professionally when addressing merchant questions or concerns
Who You Are
An understanding of the integrated payments ecosystem
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
A collaborative approach and strong team player attitude
Previous experience in payments, POS, or Tax Free solutions (strong advantage)
A technical mindset with a clear focus on customer experience
The flexibility to switch priorities while maintaining high service levels
Professional communication skills and confidence when engaging with merchants
