In the context of its transformation, Pluxee is relying on its Payment Competence Center, as a strategic initiative, to ensure universality of payment solutions and optimize issuing and processing capabilities. An opportunity for an experienced Payments Business Analyst to join our real-time payments processing team. We need someone with a detailed real-world understanding of payment systems gained in a bank or similar financial institution. Experience with faster/instant payments is highly desirable.
The Business Analyst will work in the Scrum Team as a Payment Gateway Product Owner and will take ownership of detailed analysis for specific features of the product. Defining the required functionality will involve liaison with end users, Clearing and Settlement Mechanisms, and other 3rd parties, so the candidate must be client-facing with excellent communication skills. This is an active, hands-on position in a rapidly evolving setting. The ideal candidate will exhibit both initiative and drive, while also maintaining their commitment to teamwork. As a key member of the Digital Payment Assets team, this role is instrumental in advancing the delivery of the roadmap for various Global Payment Assets employed by BRS entities.
What you’ll be doing:
Main responsibilities of the position will include:
• Translating user stories into comprehensive deliverables that capture the scope and business value as determined by the lead Digital Asset Owner.
• Performing in-depth analysis for each user story to ensure a thorough understanding of its components.
• Engaging closely with the development team to provide clear explanations of stories and ensure that acceptance criteria are explicitly defined and understood.
• Offering domain-specific support to the development team throughout the development phase as necessary.
• Participating actively in daily stand-up meetings to maintain alignment with the team’s objectives and progress.
• Facilitating the agreement and sign-off of business requirements with the Product Owner or client.
• Identifying the scope for client implementation features and establishing precise acceptance criteria.
• Organizing and leading kick-off sessions to walk delivery teams through client implementation features.
• Presenting demonstrations of each feature upon its completion to stakeholders.
• Consistently managing the user story backlog to prioritize features effectively.
• Keeping a prioritized input queue for squads to ensure a focused and efficient workflow.

Skills/Experience:
• Keen understanding of industry developments and their impact on the Payments landscape.
• Proficiency in constructing UML diagrams, including Sequence Diagrams and State Diagrams, using modeling tools or Visio.
• Expertise in crafting and refining User Stories in line with industry best practices.
• A track record of working within a Kanban or Scrum software development framework, with a consistent emphasis on the delivery of business value.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail – the candidate should be adept at methodically dissecting a problem and identifying as well as resolving any contradictions or uncertainties.
• Hands-on experience with multiple retail Payment Schemes such as SCT Inst, SEPA, FPS, RTGS, etc., is preferred.
• Comprehension of ISO8593, ISO20022 payment messages, schemas, and the application of specific fields within those messages is advantageous.
Profile:
• Experienced Payments professional with successful track-record in similar position, in an international context;
• Solid experience of prepaid product management and issuing / processing;
• Strong analysis and synthesis abilities;
• Understanding of our different stakeholders journeys (Clients, Consumers, Merchants);
• Ability to work with many partners (internal + external), including remotely (via conference call, web and video conference);
• Proactive and initiative minded;
• Relevant business / computer science degree or relevant experience;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Flexibility to travel (around 30%).
