We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and patient focused Patient Services Officer (Medical Administration) to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

This role involves working across Medical Oncology at our North Shore Hospital clinic, supporting both patients and clinical staff in a dynamic, patient centred environment.

As a key frontline team member, you will play a vital role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience for our patients, while ensuring the smooth day to day operation of the clinics.

  • Confidently manage competing priorities in an ever‑changing clinical environment, supporting patients across different stages of their treatment journey.

  • Book, coordinate, and confirm oncology consultations, treatment appointments, and follow‑up visits in collaboration with clinicians and nursing staff.

  • Complete accurate billing and receipting at the time of appointment, with consideration of oncology‑specific funding pathways and Medicare requirements.

  • Accurately process referrals, treatment documentation, and clinical correspondence, ensuring timely and precise data entry.

  • Support the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the oncology clinic, assisting with workflow coordination and clinic readiness.

  • Liaise closely with oncologists, nursing teams, allied health providers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.

  • Maintain and manage patient records and confidential oncology documentation in accordance with privacy, compliance, and clinical governance standards.
