$26.55 - $39.85Major Responsibilities: Responsible for achieving Patient and Customer Satisfaction scores and Quality Assurance processes as related to hospital and patient services standards 6)Promotes patient safety by reporting of issues through established channels and participating as requested in a safety initiatives.Attends daily Safety Huddles in absence of the Manager. 5)Monitor and evaluate customer satisfaction. Recommend changes/programs to met customer satisfaction goals. Set targets for improvement and implement appropriate action plan. 1)Achieving Meal services Press Ganey scores that meet or exceed implementing and monitoring department associates utiliztion of hospital related programs. (ie AIDET) 2)Monitoring adherance to all food safety and sanitation requirements imposed by any and all auditing and regulartory organizations . 3)Oversees the completion of all"Red Book" activities including but not limited to refrigeration logs, sanitation logs, etc. assuring variations in standares are documented and follow through completed. 4)All trayline activities are completed per policy and documented to include: Tray Accuracy Audits, Test Tray Evaluations, Census is recorded, Accurate tray counts are maintained, Taste testing is documented. Provide efficient and effective management of the food service department processes and to ensure provision of high quality products and services to our customers/patients. 1)Monitors duties and responsibilities of all associates 2)Recognize work related problems, analyze the problem and offer suggestions to improve work functions, products and service. Documents any service failures and takes appropriate action to resolve. Appropriately communicates all resolutions and process changes to department associates. Additionally intiate counselings and corrective action procedures as appropriate. 3)Implement and monitor proper training including but not limited to orientation, inservices, competency checks of all associates to assure that quality and performance standards are met. Properly documents all training activities. 4)Assists in overseeing all cash control processes and assures accurate and timely revenue drops on a daily basis. Appropriately follows up on discrepancies according to policy. 5)Ensure that hostess program is maintained to meet the food service needs of all patients. 6)Assists in the interviewing process for new hires. 7)Conducts yearly competencies and performance appraisels for assigned associates in a timely fashion. 8)Ensures that all associates complete yearly CBT, Flu shots and other hospital associated related requirements such as Associate Satisfaction Survey, Town Halls, Safety survey, department meetings. 9)Participation in self development by attending mandatory inservices and education programs appropriate to the goals and needs of the department. Ensure that budget expenditures are within established guidelines. 1)Processes PTO requests and schedules as appropriate. Maintains current and accurate records re: employee requests for time off. Authorizes any changes to the time cards. Documentation is required for all changes made. Tracks and monitors employee attendance, tardiness and absenteeism. Manages overtime to a minimum. 2)Schedule staff ensuring proper distribution of assignmnets and adequate personnel keeping in mind budget constraints. Once posted minimal changes to the schedule are made. 3)Monitor areas ensuring proper portion control and quickly food presentation and take appropriate action as needed. Use of appropriate scoops, ladels and other serving utensils. Assures that correct portions are being served. 4)Monitor all equipment to ensure it is working properly and write orders to the facilities department as needed. Recommend replacement or new equipment. Assures that all equipment is clean including but not limited to patient trayline (tray assembly), patient carts, etc. 5)Assist in the management of the departments revenue and expense budget. 6)Assists in tracking food production to ensure that only those food products ordered are prepared and served. Helps in tracking over production. Conducts periodic audits of food production and documents. Education/Experience Required: Associate degree in foodservice hospitality related field preferred 3 years of supervisor experience in food related industry. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Articulate in communication Proven strong organizational, motivational, problem solving and supervisory skills. Excellent knowledge of computer operations. Strong skills in managing a food service business.
