As a Patient Safety Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and oversight of the local pharmacovigilance (PV) system, ensuring compliance with global Roche standards and local regulatory requirements.
This role contributes to safeguarding Roche’s license to operate while enabling high-quality safety risk management across the product lifecycle. You will work closely with local and global stakeholders to translate safety strategies into effective local execution, with a strong focus on collaboration, ownership, and sound decision-making.
In this role, you will:
Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the local pharmacovigilance system in line with global Roche standards and local regulatory requirements
Execute safety-related activities across the PV system, including individual case safety reports, signal detection, aggregate safety reports, pharmacovigilance agreements, and safety labeling commitments
Contribute to local safety risk management by identifying and sharing safety insights, supporting product launch readiness, and implementing global safety solutions at the country level
Support compliant and transparent safety communication activities, including risk minimization measures and communications to healthcare professionals and external partners
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Patient Safety Operations, Medical Affairs, and Affiliate PV networks to ensure timely and effective safety oversight
Participate in studies, programs, and projects with pharmacovigilance implications, ensuring safety requirements are appropriately addressed
Actively contribute to shaping the local pharmacovigilance ecosystem through engagement with relevant external stakeholders and industry networks, where applicable
You are a proactive and collaborative professional with a strong interest in patient safety and regulatory compliance. You bring:
A degree in a life science or healthcare-related discipline (e.g., Pharmacy, Nursing, Biomedical Science, or equivalent)
1–3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, ideally within an affiliate or local market setting
A solid understanding of local and global pharmacovigilance requirements and how they translate into daily operations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment
The ability to work confidently with cross-functional stakeholders and communicate clearly and timely
A learning mindset, with curiosity to deepen your understanding of drug development, safety processes, and the pharmaceutical industry
The confidence to explain processes and activities during audits or inspections, when required
