Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Patient Pricing Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for completing patient pricing estimates in accordance with the No Surprise Act and responding to self-pay or insured estimate requests from patients. The Estimator will work closely with various departments across the organization to ensure accurate and timely estimates are provided.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Create patient pricing estimates.
Review estimates upon request from patients and/or departments.
Explain insurance benefits and eligibility to patients.
Contact appropriate internal/external resources to complete estimates or address estimate concerns.
Refer/escalate issues to the manager as necessary.
Provide feedback and education regarding pricing estimates.
Audit completed estimates to ensure accuracy and provide relevant feedback.
Review accounts with credit balances, determine the reasons for the credit balance, and resolve the issue.

Desired Qualifications:

Strong understanding of the No Surprise Act.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and internal departments.
Proficiency in explaining insurance benefits and eligibility.
Ability to audit and ensure the accuracy of pricing estimates.
Experience in resolving credit balances on patient accounts.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in relevant software and systems used in patient pricing and estimates.
