Job Summary:
Serves as a strategic consultant and liaison between our affiliates, external vendors, and the broader health system. This role is central to advancing The Meaning of Care by ensuring that patient and family voices are integrated into operational decisions and experience improvement efforts. The Specialist collaborates with affiliate leaders to identify priorities, supports the implementation of experience strategies, and facilitates communication with vendors to optimize survey tools and data insights. As a trusted resource, the Specialist promotes alignment, accountability, and innovation—helping Methodist fulfill its vision to be the preferred integrated health system in the region while upholding our commitment to patient-centered care, respect, and excellence.Responsibilities:
Strategic Guidance
Partner with leaders to interpret patient experience data and identify improvement opportunities.
Guide departments in developing evidence-based experience strategies aligned with system goals.
Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
Data Management
Serve as subject matter expert in survey tools; including setup, administration, and reporting.
Analyze trends, synthesize insights, and communicate findings through presentations and dashboards.
Promote data transparency and integrate experience metrics into organizational tools and workflows.
Training & Professional Development
Share best practices and innovations across departments and affiliates.
Stay current on industry trends and contribute to publications, awards, and presentations.
Program & Committee Support
Provide logistical and administrative support for the Patient Experience Collaborative.
Present data and updates to leadership and stakeholders as needed.

Job Description:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare/business administration, communications, or related field required.
Master’s Degree Preferred
Experience
Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience required, with preference for patient experience roles.
Minimum 1 year of experience leading people or projects.
Prior experience with survey tools and data analysis preferred.
License/Certifications

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualization tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
