The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is an essential part of the care team, working closely with nurses and therapists to support patients throughout their care journey. This role offers valuable clinical exposure and is ideal for individuals exploring or beginning a long term career in nursing or healthcare.

💙 What You’ll Do
• Assist nurses and therapists with direct and indirect patient care
• Safely transport patients throughout the organization
• Pick up and deliver x rays, supplies, scans, mail, and other materials
• Support smooth and efficient patient flow within the clinic
• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and patient centered care environment

• Starting hourly rate: $18.55

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time direct patient experience; or
2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a healthcare setting; or
3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time face-to-face customer service experience; or
4. Matriculation in a Nursing Program.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
