Patient Care Associate - WCMC Medical Surgical ICU - Part Time - 12 Hour - Days

Job Description:

The Patient Care Associate functions in an expanded role that supports the nursing care team delivering patient care. Under supervision, the Patient Care Associate assists nursing staff with care of patients and contributes to maintaining a safe, clean, well-supplied department. The Patient Care Associate also provides clerical support to ensure a smoothly functioning unit. The Patient Care Associate works in partnership and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members towards providing quality patient care and enhanced communications.

Education:

• High School Diploma - Preferred

Experience:

• 1 year Clerical - Healthcare Environment or Equivalent - Required 

• Knowledge of Medical Environment - Required

Certification/Licensures:

• BLS - Basic Life Support - Certification - Required

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).

Work Shift:

12.0 - 07:00 - 19:30 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$37.60 - $49.02
