About the role

  • Deliver exceptional front-line customer service, engaging with patients and the public in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Take ownership of problem-solving and conflict resolution, using sound judgement to manage complex situations independently.
  • Ensure accurate patient administration, including creating and updating MRNs, capturing billing details, and maintaining compliance with Medicare and hospital requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, referrers and stakeholders, while ensuring seamless handovers across Registration, Bookings and rostered areas.
  • Contribute to high-quality service delivery by managing multiple systems, preparing clear correspondence, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

  • A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate appointments across a busy schedule.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, confidently juggling multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to follow processes and ensure accuracy in all aspects of your work.
  • Trustworthy and professional, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and personal accountability.

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.
