About the role:
An exciting opportunity now exists for a motivated and passionate Patient Administration Officer to join the Administration team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane. This is a casual position and is a pivotal role in contributing to the exceptional patient experience we provide.
You will bring your passion to the position where you will work across various specialities within the Hospital. A snapshot of your duties would include:
Hospital Reception and switchboard operations
Perform a wide range of administrative duties across the hospital, which may include areas of reception, admissions, medical records and ward clerk relief; and
Supporting our clinical team with administrative duties in providing services to our patients.
This "roving" role ensures that no two days are the same, offering you a diverse and engaging work experience.

Must be available to work between the hours of 6:30am and 7:30pm
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with others quickly
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on integrity, efficiency, and accuracy
Effective organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
Strong work ethic and good understanding of patient confidentiality
Adaptable to changing priorities, with the ability to shift focus day to day
