Description:

Position Purpose

Team leader for the Arrival Team Associates, responsible for pre-registration, registration and admission functions.

What you will do

  • Assist management in leading associates in daily activities as follows:

  • Greet patients at specific service areas and check a pre-registered patient into the registration system, verifying demographic information, and collecting patient liability

  • Collect, process and reconcile patient liability when indicated

  • If the patient has not been pre-registered, complete patient registration process following department procedures

  • Work with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

  • Patient access hospital experience strongly preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances

Position Highlights and Benefits

  • Full time 40hrs, mostly days, some evening hours until 8pm, or weekend day shift coverage of other staff
