Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced and board-certified Pathologist to join our Government Solutions team.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the diagnostic integrity of the JPC repository modernization project, maintaining a T3 / Secret Clearance, and providing expert clinical consultation while holding Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology and a Valid State Medical License.
What You’ll Do In this role, you will:
Ensure Diagnostic Integrity: Assess the quality and accuracy of glass slides, repository materials, and patient documentation, recommending critical actions to ensure only high-quality slides with correct nomenclature are digitized.
Lead Medical Education & Research: Evaluate study sets for resident training and continuing education, while supporting advanced research by selecting and evaluating complex cases for professional publication.
Provide Clinical Consultation: Sign out clinical cases for JPC consultation services and lead professional training, lectures, and workshops to share advances in pathology specialties.
What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive professional knowledge of Anatomic Pathology and clinical investigation techniques.
Strong knowledge of instructional methods for medical education and the ability to report findings through professional publications.
Proven ability in clinical consultation, stakeholder management, and high-level medical decision-making within a government or repository environment.
Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD/DO), Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology, and a Valid State Medical License.
