Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Parts Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities - Associate Level 2:

  • Assists with inventory assessments  and inventory management
  • Assists with safety stock inventory management
  • Coordinates resolution for abnormal parts condition management
  • Assists with overall parts coordination, status, tracking, and communication
  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain
  • Ensures integration of Bills of Material (BOM) change into production plan schedules
  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies
  • Reports schedule adherence issues
  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories
  • Coordinates and supports process improvements
  • Works under general supervision.

Position Responsibilities - Experienced Level 3:

  • Performs inventory assessments and optimizes inventory management
  • Executes regular safety stock inventory management
  • Determines resolution for abnormal parts condition management
  • Leads overall parts coordination, status, tracking, and communication
  • Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
  • Ensures integration of Bills of Material (BOM) change into production plan schedules
  • Oversees on-time delivery
  • Documents and elevates order delinquencies constraints
  • Reports schedule adherence issues
  • Assists with and oversees inventory plans
  • Optimizes inventory levels
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
  • Initiates audits
  • Develops and creates schedules for products and services
  • Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
  • Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
  • Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret – Interim Pre-Start & Final Post Start  & Special Program Access

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Associate Level 2

  • 1+ years of experience supporting Manufacturing/Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment.
  • 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • 1+ years’ experience supporting deliverables for both internal/external customers

Experienced Level 3:

  •  3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or materials management.
  •  3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.
  • 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • 3+ years of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate Level 2: Typically, 1 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required.

Experienced Level 3: Typically, 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required.

Relocation:

Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.

Summary pay range Associate Level 2: $70,550-$87,150

Summary pay range Experienced Level 3: $85,850-$106,050
