ABOUT KHAN ACADEMY KIDS

Khan Academy Kids is a free and fun learning program for children ages 2 to 8. Kodi Bear and a cast of animated characters lead children on a personalized education journey filled with fun, standards-aligned activities in early literacy, math, executive functioning and social emotional skills. Built by a small but mighty team, Khan Academy Kids is used by millions of children in homes and classrooms around the world. 

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Partnerships and Sales Operations Manager to play a key role in supporting and optimizing our partnerships and sales operations. This individual will help design, manage, and improve the systems and processes that enable our team to effectively engage with school districts, early learning providers, and strategic partners.

The Partnerships and Sales Operations Manager will manage the operational flow of partnerships—from contracts and renewals to onboarding and performance tracking—ensuring smooth collaboration across sales, marketing, and implementation teams. They will also support lead generation and CRM maintenance, manage inbound inquiries, and coordinate RFP and vendor registration processes to expand our reach.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with strong communication skills and a knack for building efficient systems. The right candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution to strengthen the infrastructure that drives our partnerships and growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Partnerships Operations

  • Support contract lifecycle management– drafting, review coordination, approvals, renewals, and compliance tracking.
  • Support partner data collection and performance metrics for visibility across teams.
  • Support partner onboarding and enablement (e.g., training sessions, communications, resource distribution).
  • Gather and track testimonials and success stories for marketing and white papers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and implementation teams to ensure smooth partner execution.

Sales Operations

  • Identify and source contact information for potential partners, including school districts and early learning providers. 
  • Manage inbound leads via HubSpot, unqualifying and responding to leads who do not meet SQL parameters. 
  • Support CRM systems maintenance , ensuring accuracy and completeness of leads, accounts, and opportunities.
  • Conduct RFP research and provide administrative support for proposal submissions and vendor registrations.
  • Manage vendor agreements, including proactively applying for vendor approval in key districts/states.  
  • Support participation in education conferences and other public-facing events.

 Process & Systems Management

  • Support the development, documentation, and maintenance of operating systems and procedures for partnership and sales operations.
  • Support the implementation or integration of new systems or processes as the team grows.
  • Support sales collaboration between Khan Academy for Districts and Khan Academy Kids.
  • Contribute to special projects, pilots, or operational experiments that expand reach or impact.
  • Support strategic partnership evaluations or business development initiatives.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3+ years of experience in program management, sales operations, partnerships, or a related field.
  • Experience working in public education or similar space.
  • Familiarity with sales pipeline management. Knowledge of HubSpot is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills - the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, from start 
    to finish.
  • Advanced proficiency with tools like Google Workspace and Zoom
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Proactive working style with the ability to take ownership of projects from planning through to execution.
  • Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and crafting efficient processes.
  • An ability to build and manage relationships with internal Khan Academy teams and external districts and vendors in a collaborative manner.
  • A keen eye for detail, with use of Canva, Google Slides, and other platforms a plus.

  • Proven cross-cultural competency skills demonstrating self-awareness, awareness of other, and the ability to adopt inclusive perspectives, attitudes, and behaviors to drive inclusion and belonging throughout the organization.

The target salary range for this position is $96,800 - $108,900 USD / $130,807 - $147,158 CAD. The pay range for this position is a general guideline only. The salary offered will depend on internal pay equity and the candidate’s relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and job market data.
