Everyday Business Banking – Payment Acceptance
We help businesses get paid – in‑store and online – through trusted payment acceptance solutions spanning terminals, POS integrations, eCommerce and value‑added services.
Payment Acceptance Partnerships sits within the broader Payment Acceptance Centre of Excellence team and focuses on building and managing partnerships that improve distribution, enhance merchant propositions and support sustainable growth.
Why this role matters
Partnerships are an increasingly important way we reach merchants and bring new capabilities to market. This role is designed for a partnerships professional who wants to build deep capability in payment acceptance, commercial negotiation and partner execution.
You will work alongside experienced partnership, product and commercial leaders to help identify opportunities, support negotiations, coordinate onboarding and ensure partnerships deliver value once live.
This is an individual contributor role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and a clear pathway to taking on greater ownership over time.
Your impact
You will contribute to the successful delivery of strategic partnerships across POS providers, ISVs, eCommerce platforms, ERP providers and payment service providers, helping turn signed agreements into live, performing partnerships that support customer and business outcomes.
What you will do
Partner support & development
Support the identification and evaluation of potential partners across in‑store and eCommerce ecosystems.
Prepare partner profiles, opportunity assessments and briefing materials for internal stakeholders.
Commercial & contracting support
Assist with the preparation of commercial models, business cases and negotiation materials.
Support contract development and approval processes in collaboration with Legal, Risk, Procurement and Finance.
Onboarding & delivery coordination
Coordinate partnership onboarding activities once agreements are signed.
Track delivery milestones, identify risks and escalate issues to ensure partnerships progress to go‑live.
In‑life partnership management
Support day‑to‑day partner engagement, including performance tracking, reporting and preparation for partner reviews.
Assist with in‑life commercial discussions, renewals and incremental opportunities as capability grows.
Internal collaboration
Work closely with Product, Sales, Technology, Operations and Servicing teams to ensure partner activity aligns with product and customer priorities.
Build a strong understanding of Payment Acceptance products, processes and partner operating models.
What success looks like
Partnerships are onboarded smoothly and reach go‑live milestones on time.
Internal teams are well‑supported with clear materials, coordination and follow‑up.
Partner issues are identified early and resolved efficiently.
You build strong foundational knowledge of payment acceptance, partner ecosystems and commercial drivers.
What you bring
2–4 years’ experience in a commercial, partnerships, product, operations, consulting or business‑facing role within payments, financial services, technology or SaaS.
Exposure to eCommerce, POS, software platforms or merchant solutions is advantageous but not required.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
Commercial curiosity – interest in how partnerships, pricing and business models work.
Confidence engaging with stakeholders and learning to influence outcomes.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a regulated environment.
Clear development pathways exist for progression into senior partnership or product‑adjacent roles
