Join us as a Partnerships Expert - Italy to establish and grow key strategic partnerships in the Italian market, effectively reimagining the function to support our expansion in Southern Europe. You will act as a senior leader within the local team, working closely with the Head of Business Development - Southern Europe, and with Lorenzo, our Managing Director - Southern Europe to build our partnership ecosystem and drive impact.
👩💻🧑💻 As a Partnerships Expert - Italy at Qonto, you will
• Develop the Strategy: Build a long-term vision and strategy for partnerships in Italy, ensuring alignment with Qonto's overall business growth objectives.
• Map the Ecosystem: Identify and map high-potential partners in the Italian market.
• Secure Key Deals: Negotiate and close large, strategic partnerships per year, prioritizing quality and long-term value over quantity.
• Drive Execution: Lead the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, from engaging C-level executives to launching and scaling the partnership.

You will report directly to
Lorenzo (Managing Director - Southern Europe).
• His path: Lorenzo brings strong experience in scaling tech and mobility businesses. He spent over six years at Uber, where he became General Manager for Italy, leading the company through significant growth. Previously, he held commercial and entrepreneurial roles as Country Manager at GotU.io and Partner at 77Agency in the Benelux. He holds a degree in Marketing Management from Bocconi University.
• What he brings: Lorenzo combines deep expertise in general management, P&L ownership, and strategic business development from leading tech companies. Known for his coaching-driven leadership style, he supports teams in navigating complex markets while pursuing ambitious growth, making him a key partner in building and scaling Qonto’s partnerships function in Italy.

• Experience: Extensive experience in Partnerships or Sales, with a strong background in the Tech or Fintech industry.
• Negotiation Skills: You have a proven track record of negotiating and closing complex deals, with the ability to engage confidently with C-level executives.
• Strategic Mindset: You demonstrate creativity and autonomy in developing partnership strategies and can build a vision from scratch.
• Languages: You are fluent in Italian and English.
