JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Altoona is accepting applications from students to work part-time as a Recreation Attendant at the Adler Athletic Complex.

Job Duties
  • Distribution and inventory of equipment, general cleaning and maintenance, maintain safety and cleanliness in the weight room and fitness loft areas.
  • Recreational and intramural events set up and operations.
  • Read, follow, and enforce rules and guidelines found in the Adler Athletic Complex Student Employee Handbook.
  • Individuals should be customer service oriented, attentive to safety details, and act in professional manner.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to lift/push/carry weight equipment; with or without accommodations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
  • May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
Compensation:
The rate for this job is $12.00 an hour
