JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Public Health Sciences (PHS) in the College of Medicine invites applications for half-time Research Assistant to support the research activity for a large multicenter research consortium funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in which PHS serves as the Data Coordinating Center (DCC). Nine medical centers serve as the recruitment clinical centers for the consortium (five in the USA, two in the United Kingdom, and two in Australia). The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within team settings. This position will report directly to the Principal Investigator of the DCC.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serving as the Coordinator of the IAHC Stakeholder Engagement Committee
Serving as the Coordinator of the IAHC Recruitment and Retention Committee
Assisting with various IAHC-wide certifications
Performing other duties as assigned
The part-time Research Assistant will use the following software and applications: Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as those specific to internal departmental operations (Data Management System, PAINS, Qualtrics, etc.).
Education and Experience: MS degree plus two or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
