The Department of Health Sciences in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences of Northeastern University is hiring part-time lecturers for the Spring term at the Vancouver campus. The Department’s mission is to promote the health and well-being of diverse individuals, communities, and populations through health care innovations and interdisciplinary collaborative initiatives across all scientific fields, engineering, and the humanities.   

Candidates will teach Graduate courses in the Health Informatics Curriculum, prepare syllabi, lectures, course materials, give all examinations including a final exam. They may also be called upon to develop courses specific to the Health Informatics Program. They will work under the direction of the Health Informatics Program Director. They will engage productively with any teaching assistants and collaborate on course revisions and improvements with Health Informatics faculty and the University’s Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning through Research (CATLR). 

 
Responsibilities: 

Teach and/or develop on-line or on-campus courses in the Health Informatics graduate program in Vancouver. 

 
Qualifications: 

Applicants should have at least a Master’s degree in an appropriate field. 

Doctoral degrees in Computer Science, Health Science, or related fields preferred. Previous teaching experience preferred.

Pay Range:

2929.20 CAD (Course Development), 3687.50 CAD (Course Delivery)
