Job Title: Housekeeper

Practice: Northwest Veterinary Specialists
Hours: Part-time, 15 hours - 3 hours x 5 shifts per week (Monday - Friday)
Salary: £12.33 per hour

Join our team as a Housekeeper and make a real difference every day by helping to maintain exceptionally clean and hygienic clinical areas at Northwest Veterinary Specialists, supporting the care and well-being of our patients.

Main Responsibilities/Duties include:

• As housekeeper you will be required to clean clinical and non-clinical areas of Delamere and Weaver Houses in accordance with the daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• To complete general and deep cleaning and replenish stock for the Consulting Rooms along with the main reception and corridor areas on a daily basis
• Clean and disinfect all clinical areas, ensuring the cleaning of all hard surfaces, floors mopped, skirting, trolleys cleaned, etc.
• To conform with hospital uniform policy for the department
• To attend all relevant training sessions when required, with particular reference to mandatory fire training and manual handling annually
• Assist with the annual deep cleaning schedules
• To report any faulty equipment or accident to your line manager
• To assist with any other duties designed by your line manager.
• To conduct all work with full regard to recommended Health, Safety and Hygiene practices
• This role requires some light moving, lifting and handling​
