Job Description:
Job Duties:
Report to work punctually and adhere to the agreed-upon work schedule, timeliness of work hour entries.
Responsible for student safety throughout the program, including but not limited to: Mandatory Reporter Training and other best practices, such as assisting with check-ins/check-outs, transitions between classes, bathroom breaks, snacks, and lunch/recess.
Demonstrate a sensitivity toward and respect for the myriad of diversities represented in the College for Kids program.
Ability to adapt and navigate situations in a fast-paced environment.
Assist College for Kids Instructors with classroom setup/breakdown, implementing daily lesson plans, classroom activities/experiments, and classroom management.
Communicate with the College for Kids Coordinator and accompanying staff members effectively via verbal communication, phone, or email.
Communicate well with students, parents/guardians, and coworkers, including in-person inquiries.
Assist the Coordinator and Instructors with administrative tasks, including but not limited to: email/phone communication, accessing class rosters via Lumens and/or Smartsheets, operate iPads and laptops for sign-in/sign-out procedure, obtain student information via the online registration system, organize class and Instructor information using SmartSheets and Google Sheets to access inventory and organize all program supplies.
Participate in the necessary training and mandatory in-person orientation for College for Kids.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be 16 or older and authorized to work in the United States on a full or part-time basis.
Basic knowledge of computers, with the ability to troubleshoot software and classroom technology.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Google applications such as Google Docs and Google Sheets.
Basic knowledge of platforms such as Lumens Online Registration and SmartSheets.
Knowledge or understanding of teaching environments.
Experience working in fast-paced environments.
Minimum 2 years of interacting with minors in a structured setting, such as being a parent, daycare provider, teacher, teacher’s assistant, babysitter, etc.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPR / First Aid certificate. Training is available prior to the start of the program.
