LOCATION: Green Bay Campus
STANDARD HOURS: 16 hours per week. Mondays from 8:00-5:00. Additional hours could be needed based on team needs.
STARTING PAY RANGE: $62.71 - $65 per hour
*Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be placed within the range based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY
The clinical dentists at NWTC are classified as a supervisory role which means supervising student activity. Clinic Dentists provide patient assessments, student assessments, and are the overall health officers of clinic operations. Diagnosis or dental treatment for the patient is not included in the performance criteria. However, discussion about “possible diagnosis and treatments” is required upon discussion of student assessment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Patient Assessment – Review Medical Histories – Blood Pressure – Pre-medication requirements – Provide DDS consent to treat the patient – Determine need for medical consultation with medical providers.
Chair side assessment and grading of the following data: examination of intraoral and extra oral tissue structures, charting of existing restorations, charting of suspicious lesions and possible pathology.
Local anesthesia administration and observation.
Nitrous Oxide administration and observation
Laser supervision for periodontal bacterial reduction
Radiographic assessment and grading with students, including quality and radiographic landmarks and interpretation
Provide DDS prescription and consent for radiograph exposure
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Must be a licensed DDS in the state of Wisconsin
Previous clinical experience within the last 3 years
Experience with dental software (Dentrix preferred).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Mobility: Ability to move around the campus to attend meetings and events. In addition, must be able to work in, on, around, over and under fixed equipment and machinery. May be required to work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.
Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using hands and fingers to handle or operate office equipment, tools, controls, and/or heavy equipment and machinery. Capability to push, pull, and/or maneuver equipment as needed.
PPE: To wear and work in personnel protective equipment as needed
Heavy Lifting: Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Visual and Auditory: Ability to read documents and communicate effectively with students and staff.
