As the Paralegal – Contracts, you will manage contract lifecycle systems and processes within the Legal Department to ensure efficient tracking and administration of legal agreements. You will draft, analyze, and revise contracts and related communications under attorney supervision, while also facilitating the flow of contract requests and approvals between business units and the legal team. In this role, you will help streamline contract processing, ensure documentation accuracy, and support compliance across the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Contract Review & Support: Work closely with company attorneys to perform paralegal functions related to contracts and ensure all documents align with company policy.

  • Policy Compliance: Review proposed contracts and flag noncompliance issues to appropriate business stakeholders.

  • Process Optimization: Implement and execute efficient processes, workflows, and tools to improve contract review, management, and retention within the Law Department.

  • External Communication: Draft and manage communications with external parties regarding active and expiring contracts.

WHAT WE’RE SEEKING:

  • Education & Experience (Required): Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of relevant legal experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Legal Knowledge: General understanding of basic state and federal laws and familiarity with contract principles.

  • Communication & Confidentiality: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish trust and maintain confidentiality.

  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Cobblestone or other contract management software.

OTHER SKILLS THAT MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

  • Paralegal Background: Paralegal education or certification and prior paralegal experience.

  • Customer Focus: Customer service mindset with a proven track record of supporting business partners in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to drive results.
