The Paralegal Assistant position is intended to be a two-year commitment from a college graduate interested in the legal profession. We anticipate this role starting in Summer 2026 and on-site interviews will be scheduled in January.
A successful candidate provides assistance to lawyers and/or paralegals in a broad range of transaction types. This includes tasks such as: document organization, electronic filing of documents and emails, assembly of documents, including originals (where required) and delivery of the same as directed, preparation of form documents for attorney review. Files, organizes and retrieves documents arranged systematically according to the firm’s system. Performs work under direct supervision. Some client contact but refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. In some practice areas, may have an annual billable requirement of 650 hours. In this hybrid position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues both in person and virtually.

The base salary range for this position is $27.80 - $41.80/hour. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience. In addition to the base compensation, Holland & Knight provides bonus opportunities and an exceptional benefits package.
