- Reporting to the Head of Legal, Asia this role is responsible for providing general legal services and support to Sun Life Asia and the Asia Regional Office (as well as its complementary offices) and to provide support on other initiatives as assigned by the Head of Legal and other team members.

- Able to identify legal issues and practically apply legal principles in a business environment
- Able to provide solutions in a fast paced, multi-jurisdictional regional support environment
- Familiar with general contractual concepts and principles
- Interested in insurance business/insurance industry issues
- Interested in and familiar with artificial intelligence and latest trends
- Legal research skills, ability to track and analyze regulatory trends
- Strong people and communication skills, with team spirit
- Solutions-oriented and comfortable working with senior stakeholders (where relevant)
- Interested in company secretarial, corporate governance and legal document review
- Strong English language skills with Chinese language skills (preferred)
