The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Palletizer Line Technician to work at our facility in Springfield, MO. Under the direction of the Maintenance leadership, this position is primarily responsible for overall operations. Which includes being the line puller, performance, and maintenance of the Palletizer. Responsibilities include covering Palletizers and related equipment in all areas of the plant.
The Technician is responsible for the operation and coordination of affected associates in such areas as changeovers, start-up, continuous operations, sanitation and shutdown of the process. The Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all equipment associated with the area to prevent and/or correct all mechanical and minor electrical breakdowns. The Technician should facilitate use of the ‘team approach’ to seek continuous improvement and implement ideas.
Develop and demonstrate the skills necessary to handle all mechanical related duties
Operate, troubleshoot and repair all equipment (and related equipment) on the line to enhance efficiency
Manage all documentation associated with the line, including but not limited to: All QCMS documentation, Maintenance Logs, Downtime Trackers, Bill of Materials, Production OEE, etc.
Schedule, perform and document Preventative Maintenance on assigned equipment. Assist in creating PMs on equipment to manage breakdowns and reliability
Communicate effectively with other Technicians to ensure coordination of maintenance efforts
Assist plant electricians/PETs in troubleshooting electrical malfunctions of assigned equipment
Manage all inventories and supplies associated with assigned area
Ensure completion of all package integrity checks (weights, seals, code dates, package material, etc.)
Develop and demonstrate the skills necessary to perform all MQFS Testing duties
Utilization of SAP System for production and maintenance needs
Relieve other positions & shifts as needed.
Perform sanitation and period cleaning duties
Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.
Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.
Basic math, reading/writing and professional communication skills.
Able to acquire PIV licenses. 3-Wheel, 4-Wheel, Hand Jack, Walkie Rider; along with additional equipment acquired at our facility meant for Palletizer Distribution use.
Able to acquire all Maintenance related training & certifications along with the ability to certify on job
Accurately perform systems such as SAP, Matrics, MS Office Programs, Outlook, Vision Pro; along with additional systems which may be acquired for our facility.
Able to receive training and operate equipment efficiently
Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, ascending and descending; and moves up to 50 pounds; holds and grips object; must possess manual dexterity necessary to operate equipment and disassemble and reassemble equipment.
