Paid Search Lead

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Paid Search Lead to manage paid media acquisition campaigns.

  • In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of paid search strategies for deposit products, driving sustainable account growth and performance against acquisition and profitability targets.
  • Own end‑to‑end paid search management across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and SA360 leveraging deep platform expertise to optimize structure, bidding, audience strategy, and creative.
  • Work closely with Marketing Sciences on developing paid search forecasts and next-best investment opportunities.
  • Analyze performance and surface insights through rigorous measurement, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations for internal partners and senior leadership.
  • Provide paid search thought leadership by staying ahead of industry trends, platform innovations, and emerging technologies, and proactively applying learnings to the broader marketing roadmap.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Campaign Managers to optimize landing pages and ad messaging, applying A/B testing and conversion rate optimization best practices to improve funnel performance.
  • Manage and forecast budgets with discipline, ensuring alignment to financial guidelines while identifying opportunities to efficiently scale high‑performing campaigns.
  • Drive continuous optimization and experimentation, testing new approaches to improve efficiency, incrementality, and competitive differentiation.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on Paid Search experience, either client‑side within a Media Center of Excellence or agency‑side managing paid search programs for a large‑scale retailer or enterprise advertiser.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating in a highly regulated industry (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare), with demonstrated comfort navigating compliance and risk considerations.
  • Proven track record managing ROI‑driven performance campaigns, with accountability to efficiency, profitability, and growth metrics.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$100,000.00 - $163,000.00
