JOB MISSION:
We’re looking for a commercial and highly analytical Paid Media Specialist within the EMEA Marketing organisation in Amsterdam and working across all the EMEA domains. Reporting to the Paid Media Lead EMEA, the role is responsible for leading the team to develop and execute effective PPC, Paid Social, and Display campaigns. This involves the close management of our performance media agency, leading on the weekly activities they activate and their reporting. You will work closely with the wider Marketing team to ensure the consistency of the brand message and align with the Ecommerce Trade team for commercial considerations.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Oversee and execute New Balance websites’ performance marketing campaigns with our financial revenue and traffic targets, whilst maintaining a clear focus on our Global brand and consumer strategy.
Develop and lead effective paid media strategies in partnership with the agency across multiple channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social and Display. This should be done in collaboration with the Senior Ecommerce Marketing Specialist.
Handling external marketing agencies and platforms, ensuring high-quality work is delivered on time and within budget.
Own communications around performance at a weekly level to internal stakeholders, including the trade team, ecommerce team and brand marketing.
Own special products within these channels, related to CRM, retail and any other ad hoc areas.
Conduct industry research to stay up to date with trends and identify new growth opportunities.
Demonstrate a passion for retail and sneaker culture, staying informed of the latest trends.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
Proven years of experience directly managing digital performance media channels, focused on Paid Social, Paid Search, Retargeting and Display within an understanding of their impact in the wider lower-funnel ecosystem.
Connecting different data points, insights, and priorities and transforming them into meaningful, goal-focused action plans.
A customer-first approach to building brand preference and loyalty through online marketing channel.
Strong analytical competence – utilising intuition and empirical experience to complement data with a discernment for various metrics across the digital marketing funnel.
Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyses information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations
Leadership and team-building, influencing others, drive consistent execution and effectively address challenges head-on.
The ability to adapt and utilise agile decision-making, process an entrepreneurial nature and be capable of adjusting plans strategically in a changing environment.
A commercial understanding of business performance and considerations.
Experience managing agencies and working collaboratively with internal teams.
