A day in the life:

The Paid Advertising Senior Performance Analyst is responsible for owning the execution, performance, and growth of their marketing service within their book of business. They service the most complex, enterprise-level accounts and are highly regarded for their mastery over paid advertising. In addition to their account responsibilities, they are actively involved in developing the paid advertising team through training, escalation support, auditing existing accounts, and upleveling the product. The Senior Performance Analyst supports leadership in owning and improving one core pillar of the department’s business. The Senior Performance Analyst is exceptional at working under pressure and navigating probing client questions, difficult conversations, roadblocks, and account issues. In addition to their paid advertising knowledge, the Senior Performance Analyst has an understanding of cross-channel strategy, how their service impacts the broader media mix, and general business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead paid advertising strategy and performance marketing for key accounts, ensuring strong execution and achievement of client goals.
  • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in at least two major advertising channels (Google/Bing, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.).
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for key accounts, resolving roadblocks and driving performance.
  • Apply advanced cross-channel and technical expertise (attribution, incrementality, advanced measurement) to deliver impactful client results.
  • Oversee high-quality campaign execution, including thorough QA to prevent revenue-impacting errors.
  • Ensure accurate budget pacing and advise on budget changes.
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients and internal teams, leading strategic conversations and performance discussions.
  • Mentor and elevate team talent through coaching, training, and support; identify department knowledge gaps and partner with leadership to implement solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions on platforms, tools, industry trends, and best practices to strengthen team capability.
  • Collaborate on new business pitches and audits, contributing strategic insights and industry perspective.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of the Power Circuit, executing on all recommendations from the solutions roadmap.
  • Leverage AI technologies to optimize workflows, insights, and performance; model best practices for team adoption.
Role Requirements:
  • 5-6 years of digital marketing experience; 4+ years in an agency setting
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Search Engine Marketing
    • Specifically having experience with campaign development and optimization processes such as bid optimization, keyword research, and ad copy development on large, enterprise-level accounts
    • Significant campaign management experience in 3 or more of the following additional campaign types:
      • Performance Max
      • Standard Shopping
      • YouTube Ads
      • Display Advertising
      • Local campaigns
      • Bing Ads
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Meta ads direct response campaigns
    • Additional platforms a plus (TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Pinterest Ads, etc.)
  • Lead Gen and B2B experience 
  • Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s)
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics
  • Expert knowledge of funnel marketing and paid advertising in the marketing funnel
  • Strong ability to formulate meaningful insights from marketing data, going beyond the stats and telling the story

  • Owns or supports the Associate Director who owns one of Power’s 5 pillars
  • Audits and supports on strategy across 8-10 existing accounts within the department to ensure the gold standard each quarter
  • Plays an active role in team-member development within the department
