Industrial Print Sales Operations is the backbone of the business activity, driving processes and tools to keep the sales motion meanwhile increasing our customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. This area works collaboratively with the Sales Organization, Business Management, Services, and many other key stakeholders, driving operational excellence and manage business continuity risks.
Job Description
This position supports the PageWide Customer Enablement Specialist role. The specialist works collaboratively with internal HP stakeholders as well as with suppliers dedicated to business operations to support, administer, review, prepare, and follow up on inquiries related to contracts, pricing, asset registration, and invoicing criteria set in HP records. The role proactively identifies and manages changes in HP databases according to process requirements and can detect risks for HP and its clients. The specialist effectively manages client expectations through clear communication and consistent follow-up. This role gathers feedback and collaborates closely with the AMS Sales Operations team and other supporting departments (Sales, Billing, Finance & Credit/Collections, and others) to identify improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Ensures implementation of monthly service fees and discounts as per contractual terms and conditions; press and asset levels.
- Supports the PageWide business by monitoring account contracts and install base accuracy in the corresponding systems (SAP/S4).
- Acts as the first escalation point for operational matters related to account reconciliation raised by customers and/or sales representatives, as well as for Credit and Collections disputes.
- Provides instructions with clear communication steps to suppliers to ensure contract maintenance and billing processes are followed (registration, updates, cancellations, etc.).
- Supports account assessments and routes requests through the necessary ticketing systems to troubleshoot and close contractual, pricing, or install base gaps.
- Oversees ticketing systems, including tracking and follow-up through closure, ensuring key performance indicators are met.
- Collaborates closely with Contracts Administration and Sales Enablement groups to ensure contractual agreement compliance. Complies with procedural, audit, and records retention policies.
- Participates in customer and HP stakeholder meetings during the billing reconciliation process.
- Supports the PageWide Deal Management process (deal creation and order submission) and serves as a backup for other businesses, such as PageWide XL and Large Format, during business continuity situations.
- May support and assist other areas within Contracts Enablement and Billing related to other industrial print product lines, including hardware, services, and supplies.
- Acts as a subject matter expert by identifying needed procedural changes and advising on methods to improve business processes and efficiencies.
Education and Experience Required
- First-level university degree or equivalent experience; an advanced university degree is a plus.
- Typically 4–6 years of experience in a business-related function, preferably finance, accounting, or compensation.
- Demonstrated experience in self-directed roles with minimal supervision.
Knowledge and Skills
- Fluent in English (written and oral). Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex matters.
- Experience with SAP/S4, PriceHub, and other industrial print systems is preferred.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
