The Opportunity
Allegro is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shipping Logistics Packer to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this critical, hands-on role, you will be the final touchpoint in our production process, ensuring that our innovative semiconductor products are packed with precision, labeled correctly, and prepared for safe delivery to our customers worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and organized individual to play a vital part in upholding Allegro's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do
Execute Precise Packing & Labeling: You will be responsible for the careful packing of products, ensuring all items are secure and protected. A key part of your role will be to generate and apply correct labels—including 2D hub, flap labels, and special attention labels—using the AutoPack application.
Maintain a Safe & Organized Workspace: Champion our 5S and housekeeping standards by ensuring the packing area is clean and that all packing materials and equipment are in their designated places at the start and end of every shift.
Manage Documentation & System Entry: Meticulously maintain all pick slips and travelers, ensuring they are properly filed for easy retrieval. You will also ensure the proper encoding and scanning of box details and their locations into the releasing Master File.
Operate & Maintain Equipment: Properly utilize and care for all packing equipment, including computers, label printers, and paper cushion machines. This includes refilling supplies like paper cartridges and thermal transfer ribbons to ensure continuous operation.
Ensure Product Safety & Integrity: Follow specific work instructions for material handling, including the proper use of pushcarts and correct stacking procedures, to guarantee the safety of our products. You will also strictly adhere to all company safety policies and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Support Team Operations: Act as a backup Master Boxer when needed, endorse packed products to the next stage, and report any problems that could affect delivery or quality to your supervisor immediately.
What Will You Bring?
At least a 2-year College Diploma.
The ability to perform receipts and issuance transactions in Oracle.
Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications.
A strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
A reliable and proactive work ethic with a focus on safety and quality.
