What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Take responsibility for individual contributions to achieve team deliverables, working effectively as a team member and coordinating with others.

  • Ensure work is reviewed for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.
  • Operate assembly and packaging equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures and Batch Records, ensuring equipment is operational post-maintenance with accurate and complete maintenance logs.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and adjust processes or packaging equipment to enhance quality and efficiency, performing calculations for percent accountabilities, reconciling numerical values, and executing all manual packaging and inspection duties as required by the operating unit.

Line Coordinators are responsible for operation and control of production lines. The Line Coordinator can oversee both manual and automated production lines. Work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards (SOPs) and following all regulatory requirements (i.e., GMPs & OSHA).  This job includes the following functions:
•    Perform manual and/or automated packaging and/or inspection duties as required by the operating unit 
•    Changeover, set up, and assist with troubleshooting of all production lines
•    Perform line cleaning and clearances; verifies line is cleaned and cleared prior to starting a production order
•    Perform necessary process checks including but not limited to package checks, hourly audits, etc.
•    Monitors production output, checks product quality and makes adjustment to ensure equipment is operating efficiently
•    Maintain entries into GPM documents with daily review for completeness 
•    Utilize computer skills to interact with multiple systems, performing entries is systems such as but not limited to SAP, PEPs, WPM 
•    Display robust communication between shifts
•    Train and mentor new colleagues and TCWs
•    Working safely and compliantly following all applicable SOPs and standards including recording of GMP documentation
•    Completing and maintaining all required training on time

•    Utilize downtime effectively and learn production principles
•    Maintains training requirements per Site and Unit Goals 
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
 

EHS 
•    LOTO, Line Log, and Maintenance Log completion
•    Unit safety self-inspections

GMP 
•    GMP record entries and review for completion
•    Access to area specific gowning 
•    Meets daily GMP requirements - with assistance  
•    Maintains training requirements per Site and Unit Goals 

Production Operations 
•    Meets all Inspection Audit requirements, with no failed audits per year, thus reliably identifying passing/failing product 
•    Fully understands manual inspection process flow
•    Trained in Wrapping loads 
•    Qualified Job Task Trainer (Proficient) – volunteers and proficient in training others on basic tasks
•    Direct operator assignments duties at the end of orders, including cleaning and clearances
•    Changeover and set up production lines based on standard work directions/settings/time targets (with assistance on Automated lines)
•    Troubleshoot production lines in alignment with unit escalation process (with assistance on Automated lines)
•    Control assigned line - timely start and stop times for the lines
•    SAP / PEPS / WPM Access, basic knowledge with the ability to enter and edit data

Sterile Injectable Inspection Specific:
•    Pace Line Inspection, qualified on all products  
•    Semi- Automated Line 6 fully qualified
•    Must be signed off on all Material Handler operations.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • High School Diploma or GED with 6 months of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in math and reading skills for understanding Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (also cGMP), and Batch Record comprehension
  • Ability to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Capability to perform tasks under demanding conditions
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Familiarity with automated packaging equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting/lowering up to 35 pounds and reaching/standing/walking/stooping/crawling.
  • Able to wear safety PPE (safety glasses, gloves, and other based on product requirements)
  • Annual vision testing (acuity as well as color blindness testing) is required.
  • No physical or medical restrictions that would prohibit working in a low light and/or confined space work environment.
  • Ability to don appropriate gowning based on area specific gowning requirements

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

This is a 3rd shift position, 11:00pm-7:30am. Weekend, holiday, and overtime may be required to meet business or customer needs.


Work Location Assignment: On Premise

The salary for this position ranges from $19,39 to $32,32 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
