Essential Duties and Position Responsibilities
Listed below are the essential jobs functions and the primary responsibilities for an Operator working in the Woburn facility. At any time, manufacturing demands may require the Operator to work on a different product line which would require them to perform any or all of the listed additional functions.
Operate filling equipment, die cutters, sealers, drying ovens, and test equipment used in the cleanrooms.
Operate label maker machine(s), load sterilizer racks. Assemble, count, inspect, and package devices per relevant operating procedures.
Align with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory/procedural requirements at all times.
Complete all relevant Device History Records (DHR) and Lot History Records (LHR) as required, staying in sync with Quality System requirements
Vacuum, clean and sanitize rooms/manufacturing areas and equipment as required
Train others on work instructions when required
Perform duties in controlled environments as required
Maintain good attendance and on-time record as outlined in the Attendance Guidelines for our facility
The ability to work overtime, as needed
Perform other related duties as required
Perform all tasks with a safety approach
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Required:
High School diploma or GED required
0-2 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly operations
Experience in medical devices or other regulated industry preferred
Must have ability to read, write, interpret, comprehend, and consistently follow specifications written in English
Digital literacy / basic ability to use Microsoft Office required
Ability to multi-task optimally
Familiarity with using safety equipment, OSHA regulations and MSDS standards
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
Must be able to wear a respirator if required.
Must be able to sit, stand, move, twist and bend to operate, move and clean equipment and clean room(s)
