As Physical Failure Analysis Engineer you shall focus on Automotive product survival failure using modern analysis tools like- CSAM, 2D X-Ray, 3D-X-Ray, Microscopes, Elite -emission,  Curve Tracer, TDR, Grinders, Decapper and SEM/EDX. You will be required to bring the latest technique and tools to develop analysis capability and skills on new technologies and materials. Complete Failure Analysis jobs in committed turnaround time (TAT), Improve TAT toward best in class (BIC). Measure data analyze and present result to requestors and customers.  

As Physical Failure Analysis Engineer, you will be also responsible to coordinate and co- work with cross functional team/ departments across globes to deep drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive solution to improve package reliability.   

Responsibilities and Tasks 

• Primarily responsibilities are Failure mode and mechanism analysis on DRAM, Automotive DRAM and Module failures during development and qualification.  
• Hands on work tools like SAT, X-Ray, 3D-X-Ray, Microscopes, Elite -emission, Curve Tracer, TDR and SEM/EDX in order to perform analysis.  
• Generate Failure analysis report, Maintain Database, and work closely with each stakeholder to improve reporting, database, and system.    
• Maintain key metrics like Turnaround time, FA success rate and work closely with team lead, technician, and engineers to improve efficiency and drive best in class result. 
• Drive long and short-term projects related with Failure analysis, automation, smart processes, and system level traceability. 
• Write manuals, SOP and technical papers related with new tests and improvements. 

Education:  

• Bachelor's or Master’s or equivalent in Mechanical, Electronics, Materials, Physics, Chemistry and related fields.  

Experience  

• New College Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in Semiconductor or semiconductor industry or related materials, process, research, and development is a plus.
