About the location:

Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.

About the role

The Overnight Waiter plays a crucial role in providing exceptional in-room dining service during the night shift, ensuring that all guest needs are met promptly and efficiently. This position requires attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of service in a quiet and calm overnight environment. The Overnight Waiter supports the hotel’s Food and Beverage operations by taking late-night orders, delivering meals and beverages to guest rooms, and ensuring a smooth and discreet service experience consistent with Four Seasons standards.

What you will do

  • Provide attentive and personalized service by taking and delivering in-room dining orders during overnight hours.
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurate, timely, and presented according to hotel standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and preferences with care and discretion.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the in-room dining area, including pantry and service equipment.
  • Restock items and prepare mise en place for the following day’s operations.
  • Collaborate with the Night Team, Kitchen, and Front Office to ensure guest orders and needs are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Process all guest checks accurately and ensure proper billing in compliance with internal procedures.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to any guest complaints or service recovery situations.
  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and security procedures required for night operations.

What you bring

  • Experience: Previous Food & Beverage service experience, ideally within a luxury hotel, in-room dining, or fine dining setting.
  • Service mindset: Genuine commitment to guest satisfaction, anticipating needs, and ensuring a seamless overnight service.
  • Independence: Capable of working efficiently on your own while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong verbal skills in English and Spanish to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail: Accuracy in order taking, food presentation, and delivery coordination.
  • Time management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple orders efficiently, even during busy or unexpected situations.
  • Physical stamina: Comfortable carrying trays, walking long distances, and standing for extended periods.
  • Team collaboration: Cooperative attitude when coordinating with other departments, especially Kitchen and Night Audit.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the operation.
  • Legal requirement: Authorization to work in Spain.

Work Experience: 2 Years.

Degree: Professional /Technician.

Languages: Spanish / English.

Language Ability: High.

Schedule & Hours: Seasonal contract, full time, 40 hours per week, with consecutive night shifts only, including evenings and weekends.
