As a Credentialed Overnight Assistant Hospital Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading overnight operations, supporting a highly skilled team, and ensuring seamless care for pets in critical need. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Operations

  • Supervise overnight Associates, including credentialed technicians and client service representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with VCA policies, safety standards, and AAHA guidelines.
  • Act as the primary decision-maker for operational issues during overnight hours.

Clinical Support

  • Utilize advanced technical skills such as critical patient monitoring, catheter placement, ventilator setup, and CPR recovery.
  • Support emergency and specialty teams in delivering high-quality care.

Administrative Duties

  • Manage scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation for overnight shifts.
  • Assist with financial oversight, inventory control, and reporting.
  • Promote a positive culture of teamwork and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT, CVT, LVT) required or equivalent emergency and specialty clinical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in veterinary hospital operations or emergency care.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-stress environment.
