Job Description

Outpatient Therapists report to the Mental Health Clinic Specialist.  Outpatient Therapists participates with a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatric providers to provide an array of services to consumers of mental health and adjunct services in an outpatient clinic setting.

Location: Charleston and Arcola IL

Hours: Full-time

Required: MA; Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC); BLS/CPR within 90 days of hire.
Pay: Based off experience, starting at $27.68

Responsibilities

Ability to assess, diagnose, establish goals and appropriately treat mental health disorders in children, adolescents and adults., Ability to help consumers feel at ease during consultation and facilitate ongoing sessions with individuals, groups or families, Ability to monitor consumer progress and appropriately disengage once treatment goals are met, Demonstrates the ability to manage work processes, including strong computer and time management skills for documentation purposes
 , Maintains awareness of community resources and services in Coles and surrounding counties, Other duties as assigned, Participates in planned supervision and case consultations, Participates in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth, particularly to maintain license, certification or identified program performance skills, Possesses ability to maintain confidential information within HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies, Possesses a working knowledge of substance abuse theory and drugs of abuse, Possesses a working knowledge of various therapeutic approaches utilized in the provision of mental health services, Possesses the ability to be flexible with scheduling and site locations and to perform and prioritize multiple duties, Provide crisis intervention/support to consumers and referral to higher level of services where appropriate, Provides services and conducts self in a manner consistent with licensed profession’s Code of Ethics, Represents the organization in a professional manner with various in-service and/or community presentations, Supports the organization’s mission, along with sensitivity to cultural issues and workplace harmony
 

Requirements

MA (Required)BLS or CPR certification (within 90 days of hire) - Sarah Bush Lincoln, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
