The ideal candidate will also have:
Current licensure by Maine State Board of Examiners in Physical Therapy required.
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Ability to build and maintain positive and genuine client rapport

Job Description:

  • Performs initial and ongoing assessments of the patient's condition.
  • Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities. Documents subjective, objective, and assessment findings and plans patient progress.
  • Educates and counsels the patient and family/caregiver. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting. Provides information regarding the appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Supervises and delegates the care provided by physical therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations, and practice standards.
  • Per diem opportunity with strong potential for consistent weekly hours at a single location, as well as vacation coverage opportunities. Our organization includes three departments, each staffed with more than 45 therapists, offering ongoing scheduling flexibility and continuity of work.
