Sentara is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for our Outpatient Pharmacy at Norfolk General Hospital
Location: Norfolk General Hospital
Status: Flexi / PRN (1- 8 hours shift per week with opportunities to pick up additional hours)
Shift: Rotating 8 hr Shifts
Hours: 8:45am-7:15pm
Occasional Saturdays and Holidays
The Pharmacy Technician performs care delivery and dispensing under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist or licensed independent practitioner.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification/Licensure
Virginia Pharmacy Tech License (Required)
CPhT License (Received through the NHA or PTCB) (Required)
Experience
Previous Pharmacy Tech Experience (Required)
