Emplify Health by Gundersen is adding a fulltime Outpatient Occupational Therapist to our Winona Campus therapy team to primarily work with and treat our Neuro & Lymphedema patient populations as we bring patient-centered care closer to home.

What You'll Do:

As an Occupational Therapist on our team, you will work at our Winona Campus evaluating and treating individuals with disabilities, injuries and disease using appropriate modalities and treatment techniques according to Minnesota OT Standards of Practice. In this role you will primarily focus on patients with Neuro and Lymphedema needs; helping patients manage their chronic condition by teaching self-care skills and providing wholistic treatment including equipping individuals with the skills needed to perform day-to-day tasks and adapt to their environments, education about lymphedema prevention and management, performing manual lymphatic drainage to help move excess fluid out of swollen limbs, recommend customized compression therapy plans, teach patients exercises to help relieve symptoms and improve range of motion, perform soft tissue mobilization and scar management, and provide instruction on pain and lifestyle management. Lymphedema Certification required.

What's Available:

  • Fulltime, 72 hours biweekly (0.9 FTE)

  • Monday - Friday, variable clinic hours between 7a-6p, no weekends or holidays required

  • 60-minute appointment lengths, schedule allows for up to 32 patients/week with at least 4 hours each week for office time

  • Starting salary of $64,525 (based on FTE) and up, salary is commensurate with your years of work experience

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Occupational Therapy

  • State of Minnesota Occupational Therapist (OT) License

  • Current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross 

  • Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT)/Lymphedema Certification required

  • Neuro experience preferred
