Job Description Summary
As the Outbound Warehouse Operations Coordinator, you will support day-to-day outbound activities while helping the operation evolve. This role combines hands-on operational expertise with a strong focus on efficiency, improvement, and change. You will support a fast-paced outbound environment that operates across multiple shifts and work closely with teams on the warehouse floor. The position reports to the Outbound Warehouse Manager and provides cover for key operational roles when needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide operational continuity by covering for the Outbound Warehouse Manager and Resourcing Coordinator during absences, including short-term capacity and workload decisions
Stay closely connected to outbound teams across shifts, ensuring strong presence on the shop floor and alignment with daily plans
Track daily volumes, execution, constraints, and performance against plan, escalating and resolving issues as they arise
Support and sustain structured daily management routines such as shift start-ups, escalation follow-up, standard work, and floor walks
Supervise daily outbound activities and step in to resolve disruptions while ensuring consistent application of processes and standards
Act as the go-to expert for outbound processes including picking, sorting, staging, and loading
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, productivity, safety, and service through data-based analysis
Contribute to system and process changes, including warehouse system upgrades, by supporting design, testing, and team adoption
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, engineering, or equivalent experience gained in operations
Solid experience in outbound warehouse environments with the ability to work hands-on when required
Proven experience leading improvement or change initiatives in operational settings using structured methods
Coaching-focused approach with the ability to guide teams and encourage ownership of improvements
Organized, resilient, and comfortable balancing daily operational needs with longer-term improvement work
Clear and confident communicator who builds trust across teams and levels
Fluent in Dutch, and conversational English.
