Job Context

The Outbound Business Development Representative is a key driver of creating qualified sales opportunities by expertly managing outbound sales strategies. This role focuses on proactive lead generation, targeting specific high-value accounts, and penetrating deeper into the market to fuel the sales pipeline and contribute to Simpro Group's growth.

What You’ll Do

The role, straight up

  • You'll be an outbound hunter, calling into named accounts and earning the meeting. We invest heavily in coaching, enablement, and the tools that make a BDR successful — because we expect high performance in return. The reps who do this well become the best sellers in the building.

Who we're looking for

  • You're hungry. You compete. You'd rather be great than comfortable.

  • You can hold a real conversation with a business owner.

  • You take coaching well. When a manager points out a gap, you work on it together.

  • You're organized enough to run high activity without dropping the ball on the basics.

  • You want to be in the room. You believe reps get better faster surrounded by other reps.

  • Bonus (not required): outbound SaaS experience, trades/field service industry exposure, or a track record of hitting quota in any high-activity sales role.

    Not every great rep wants the standard AE track. Our strategic and specialist sales roles go to BDRs who love the craft of outbound and want to go deep on named accounts.

  • Path 3 — Account Manager.

    If you love relationships, expansion, and long-term customer success, AM is your seat. Own a book of Simpro customers and grow it.

    We'll have this conversation with you in your first 90 days. Pick a lane, we'll build a path.
