Job Description Summary We are seeking a Pune based Trade Support and Settlement Analyst to join our OTC Settlements Team within Derivative Operations a subdivision of Global Technology and Operations. Team/Group Description The OTC Settlements team within Derivative Operations settles bilateral derivative cash payments and receipts associated with upfront and trade life cycle events for the derivative trades placed on behalf of our clients and funds. We affirm all cash settlements with the executing broker and then instruct cash movement in accordance with our policies. We also work with other groups upstream and downstream to correct any discrepancies on the trade and assist in the reconciliation of cash as needed. Role Description The OTC Derivative Trade Support and Settlement Analyst is responsible for the strict control of trades and for liaising with both internal and external contacts, escalating to management where appropriate. The settlement team works independently from the Front Office and is key to the control of the business, ensuring the highest level of quality is achieved at all times. Applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports The primary applications used to support this role are Calypso, CTC (Clareti Transaction Control), AB Advantage, industry web sites, broker and custodian portals. Provide the more in-depth departmental info to the above high-level overview The Derivatives Operations Department is primarily responsible for the trade lifecycle management and controls of both standard and complex OTC Derivative activity across Rates, Credit, Equity and FX. Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Support day-to-day operational needs for equity, fixed income and multi-asset derivative settlement support for our asset management business.

Ensure all aspects of OTC Derivative trade settlement affirmation are carried out in a timely manner
•
Access and communicate settlement instructions with counterparties using DTCC ALERT
•
Perform reconciliation, fail management and break resolution related to OTC derivative cash settlements
•
Participate in team projects to enhance workflow, document processes and support changes in industry regulations related to derivatives.
•
Provide superior client service.
•
Shift will be from 5:00PM to 1:30 AM IST
