Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Cast Room Assistant is responsible for removing and assisting with the application of various types of casts for pediatric patients.

Also performs a variety of assigned duties which promote a safe and organized environment for the delivery of patient care.

  • Fracture Clinic - Summer: May-October*

  • Hours:  Casual (Option to work up to 40 hrs per week)

  • Schedule:  Monday-Friday

  • No Nights or Weekends

  • Location:  Greenfield, Delafield or Mequon clinics

*Note: Can accommodate summer break schedules past August

Education:

High school education or equivalent preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic calculations in order to complete supply requisition forms and charge documents and ability to comprehend and follow semi complicated verbal instructions, as well as demonstration of basic organizational skills.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council within 90 Days required
